Florida’s attorney general rewrites property tax amendment for November ballot

Florida’s attorney general rewrote the ballot language for a proposed property tax amendment after a judge found the wording misleading. The measure would increase homestead exemptions beginning in 2027 if approved by at least 60% of voters in November.
